Santa Maria Maggiore - Michelangelo's Mose - St. Clemente's Basilica & undergrounds - Diocletian's Baths - Cappuccini Crypt - Barberini Square
	A walking tour aimed to discover more about Rome in a single day.

This tour is designed for good walkers. It will start at the church of San Clemente to explore its undergrounds: the Paleo-Christian Basilica and the Roman houses and the sanctuary of Mithra. From there we'll walk by the Ludus magnus (the gladiators training field) and the Coliseum towards the church of San Pietro in Vincoli, or St.Peter in Chain to admire Michelangelo's Moses and the tomb of Julius the II.

After a break for lunch we move up the hill either walking , taking cabs or by public transportation. There on top of the Esquiline Hill We'll enjoy the medieval mosaics and the golden ceiling of Saint Mary Major. The major Diocletian Baths and Michelangelo's church of S.ta Maria degli Angeli are in the surrondings. Finally we'll walk downhill to the famous via Veneto to visit the creepy Cemetery of the Capuchins to end at Barberini square in the heart of Rome's shopping area.
