Your private walking tour will begin in one of Rome's most spectacular and famous squares, Piazza Navona, an alive and picturesque scenery created through the centuries within the remains of the ancient stadium built by emperor Domitian in 1st century AD. Here we can compare the work of the two great baroque geniuses, Bernini and Borromini, looking at the Fountain of Four Rivers and the church of Saint Agnes, masterpieces of baroque art.
The church of Sant'Ivo della Sapienza, in the courtyard of one of the oldest University in the world will give us an idea of the works which first revealed young Borromini's innovative genius.
From here, we proceed to the Pantheon considered to be one of the finest architectures ever created by human kind. The ancient temple to all Gods created by emperor Hadrian in the second century still preserve its original beauty.
We cross the Corso, the most central street of Rome, to reach the majestic Fountain of Trevi, main symbol of the city with the Colosseum and St. Peter.
From here a few more steps will take us to the famous Spanish Steps in the enchanting piazza di Spagna where we’ll admire the Barcaccia fountain, the high fashion designer’s district and enjoy the atmosphere of this great open air "living room".

Thank you, Doris & Sal Cimino
