Paul, the Apostle of the Gentiles
We start our itinerary at the Abbey of the Three Fountains raised on the place where Paul was beheaded. The legend tells that where his head bounced three times on the ground, there originated three springs of clear water.
From the place of his martyrdom to the place of his grave, under the main altar of the imposing Basilica of St Paul outside the walls.
Our tour ends at the Catacombs, the early cemeteries excavated in the rock where the first martyrs and Popes were buried.
