Witnesses of Faith
Our itinerary starts at the Colosseum where, according to the tradition, the early Christians faced the agony of the wild beasts. From there we walk to the nearby jail of the Apostles, the Mamertine Prison, where Peter is said to have converted his warders.
We end at the Vatican, where Saint Peter was crucified among other martyrs during the first Christian persecutions of Nero.
We will visit Saint Peter Basilica built on his grave and the Tomb of Pope John Paul II.
